Warriors Fitness Zone

Q & A

Q: What can I expect from my first initial contact with you?

A: Upon introductions, I will begin by requesting that you provide me with as much detailed reasons for your desire to get 1-on-1 training. Through the building of rapport, I will begin to create a mental image that will aid in helping me begin the construction of our fitness plan together. I will, again, be drawing out from you as much detail as I need to better serve you in every area you seek results in.

Q: Will I need to consult a physican before training?

A: My general rule of thumb is yes! The reason I will suggest an okay clearance from your doctor is to be thorough in designing a fitness program for you. A medical release from your provider is a great tool that benefits both of us to uncover and medical history that may or not be a factor in our training. Generally, for people under 30 there are no medical requirements necessary. For people 30-50 years of age, it is highly recommended that you obtain a medical release form from your doctor, and for those over 50, it is necessary that I receive a medical release from your doctor. In addition, during your first workout session I will also be monitoring your fitness level to ensure that we can overcome any obstacles that may or may not hinder our performance.

Q: Do I need to have any physical fitness experience in my past to be successful in training with you?

A: Absolutely not! I welcome all levels of fitness. Your strong desire to change and become healthier is what I initially require for your greatest chance of success. However, this relationship is also a partnership, I promise that upon beginnning a training schedule with you, I will deliver my part 100% each and every time; and I will expect that you do the same when we are not together training. You represent you and you should always think as if you are in training daily. While in the process of change, your character is really put to the test. What you do when no one is watching is just as important as what you do when someone is.

Q: What hours are you available for training?

A: My training schedule is as follows: Monday thru Friday between 8am and 8pm, 8pm is the last appointment. Weekend hours available by special request only. Contact me NOW to schedule your FREE consultation.

Q: Do you offer child care?

A: No. My intent is to focus on you.

Q: What can I expect from my first actual training session?

A: Hard work! That is what I expect with each training session. Great attitude with great effort will equal great workout sessions. In addition, your first training session will most likely comprise a light to moderate cardio training. Each workout is designed specifically to challenge you personally and move you progressively in the direction towards more intense training in the future weeks to come. The cardio challenge will be consisting of many different exercises to be performed within a certain time frame to help me gauge your current fitness level, as well as, show you where your current fitness level stands.

Q: Is my first session really free?

A: Yes! Our first training session is your best tool to determine if you would like to continue building our fitness relationship, which I highly anticipate we will.

Q: How many days per week should I be training?

A: Again, it depends on your current fitness level, your desired goals (which would have been discussed at our initial consultation), and our current schedule availabilty. We will work to find the best workout schedule that best suites your current fitness goals. Contact me TODAY to find out my schedule availability.

Q: What type of clothing should I wear?

A: Anything you are 100% comfortable and flexibile in that you know will be wet from sweat. Must wear  comfortable sneakers. Please bring your own towel.

Q: Will there be refreshments or food available?

A: Yes. There will be refreshments and light snacks available.

Q: If I am scheduled for training and not feeling well, how do I contact you?

A: As per our cancellation policies, I would request that as soon as you know that we may need to reschedule, please let me know by email, office phone or cell phone as soon as possible.

Q: How Long approximately does each individual session last?

A: Each session has a 5-minute warm-up, approx. 30-minute workout, 5-minute cool down. Due to your current fitness level, excercise demonstration, and executing proper form, anticipate longer workouts in the beginning, they could run longer than 40 minutes. Some workouts can be 30-40 minutes alone, once we have been training together for a period of time.

Q: Do I need to take supplements that I keep hearing about?

A: I always recommend that you take a multi-vitamin in the morning and a pre-workout, protein powder shake. After the workout, I recommend a recovery protein shake. These shakes are additional protein that the body needs for added energy and necessary amino acids. Other than these, I do not ask you to take anything else you may not be 100% comfortable with.

Q: Are these supplements expensive?

A: Protein powder can be very expensive both short term and long term, on average these canisters can cost between $20 and $80. I, myself, do use them daily and highly suggest that you do too, but I do not make them a must use in order to train. The benefits that you receive from them far outway the costs associated with them.

Q: Am I under any kind of monthly contracts?

A: NO, you pay for the sessions you want and just your deep desire to change and design your best fitness lifestyle.

Q: What are the payment options that are available?

A: I accept cash or you can submit payments via Paypal's secure website. I will invoice you once we have reached an agreement on what plan we want to work with and you can simply log on to the PayPal site and submit your payment from the security and privacy of your own home. The site is easy and safe to use and is the method I recommend best.

Q: Where do we train?

A: We will be either training in the comfort of your own home where I will bring all the necessary supplies we need. The other option is in my home studio, "The Warriors Den," as I like to call it.

Q: Why do you call this an Academy?

A: Academy adds an academic component to your training. Being that the body and mind must work together, I incorporate challenges for the mind that will compliment your physical training. The body and mind must have balance and work together to achieve overall success in your every day life. While enrolled in Elite Fitness Academy, I will be providing you with great tips to take home that will be in paper form, articles that correspond with your current workout schedule and homework that you will need to complete and return when we meet again. These assignments are great tools that you will be able to use to help you design your new lifestyle and in time you will see the benefits of performing this kind of work.

Q: How long before I can expect to see results?

A: Results and success are an individual achievement. To each person, the end result differs. What is successful to one person will most likely be different for someone else. All I ask of you, is to perform the best you can when we are together each and every time. That is the first step towards getting results. Most begin to see noticable differences around the 3-4 month mark, when training for at least 3 days a week consistantly and doing your part on your off days. But most people also begin to feel and notice small changes in their bodies as early as 2 to 4 weeks.

Q: If I find that after 3 sessions this is not for me do I get a refund?

A: YES. My number one responsibility is to you, the client. If by the 3rd session you are not happy for whatever reason and find that this is just not going to work out for you; than just let me know and all the money you paid up to that point will be refunded 100%. After that, you will receive a prorated amount of the days you have left. I would rather part as friends than anything else.

Q: How soon can I get started?

A: You can be working out and have a schedule of our workouts within a week after our initial consultation, depending on availability and scheduling.  Contact me NOW to schedule your FREE consultation!

Q: How do I contact you?

A: I can be reached via e-mail (My best way), cell phone, or my home studio office number.

Q: Can I train with a friend?

A: Absolutely! I will offer you and your friend an additional free session to try together before spending a single dime. If you both decide to join, than you can look at our rates page for the special discounted pricing for workout's with partners, friends, etc...

Q: Do you offer any discounts?

A: Yes, I offer many discounts. I do not want finances to be an excuse as to why your not training. Go to my rates page now to see what specials are currently being offered. I will be offering new specials each and every month.
